Director ~ Maxine Creamer
Maxine Creamer is the current acting Director for Franklin County Literacy, Inc. Ms. Creamer first came to work for Franklin County Literacy in 1997 as a Community Outreach Specialist. Although she had a strong commitment to literacy and the people of Franklin County, in 1999, another opportunity became available in which she was able to expand her career goals and strengthen and enhance her administrative skills. Maxine is delighted to once again be a part of Franklin County Literacy, and because of her dedication to the people of this community, her commitment has only strengthened, as she is determined to help as many folks as possible.
Administrative Support & Resource Specialist ~ Donna Thompson
Donna Thompson has been with Franklin County Literacy, Inc. for more than 10 years. She began her career in education in early 1996, when she worked as a substitute teacher for the Franklin County School Systems. In 1997, Donna became a Vista Volunteer with the Americorp Program working under the direction of Franklin County Literacy, Inc., until 2000, when Ms. Thompson then moved into the position of Community Outreach Specialist, employed by Florida A & M University, directed by Franklin County Literacy, Inc. Donna continues to serve the people of Franklin County in her present role as Administrative Support & Resource Specialist.
